Scaffolding Tube

Scaffolding Tube - supporting your scaffolding needs

The importance of scaffolding members and systems cannot be understated.  These systems are an integral part of the fabrication, construction and maintenance processes commonly used in many industries.  The key performance requirements of these sections are that there should be tight control of cross-section, internal weld bead profile and member dimensions (for telescoping elements).  They should also be robust and durable for not only overloads encountered during their working life but also from mishandling elements used in temporary or permanent falsework applications.  Scaffolding Tube satisfies all these traits and the requirements of the relevant scaffolding tube Standards.

Bore Casing Tube

Bore Casing Tube - protecting precious bore-water pipes

Water being a precious commodity in most parts of Australia may, in many situations, be sourced from bore wells.  Extracting the water and bringing it to the surface requires a protective covering or sleeve around the water pipe.  The role of bore casing is to provide that protective covering.  Once in the ground the bore casing pipe must provide many years of reliable service.

Bore Casing Tube satisfies these requirements and is manufactured from steel with enhanced mechanical properties.

UniRail

UniRail - a tubular rail section with universal application

If a tubular section was ever considered to be a hybrid of a CHS and RHS then it would be UniRail.  Short for "universal" application rail, the section has flat surfaces for better connectivity and rounded surfaces for aesthetics.  Due to these geometric attributes, UniRail is ideal for various end applications which include signage, posts, fence rails, handrails, seating, structural elements in vehicle frames, leisure and gym equipment.

StockRail

StockRail - saving your livestock

StockRail is a tubular rail section geared for applications involving livestock - as an example for fencing-in cattles, horses, sheep, etc.  Once known as CattleRail, the StockRail section looks similar to a UniRail section with two flat surfaces and two highly curved surfaces.  The difference between the two sections lies in the transition between the flat and curved surfaces.  The UniRail flat-to-curve transition is sharper whereas the StockRail flat-to-curve transition is more gradual and "softer".  The effect of this is to reduce "bruising" of livestock in pen-type situation and is preferred by many livestock owners.  Though the StockRail section fills a role in livestock applications it, like UniRail, can be used in a host of other end-uses.

SiloTube

SiloTube - providing that ring of confidence

SiloTube has a most interesting profile as it is a four-sided tubular section without any equal length sides.  The section was initially designed to be an optimal element for silo ring beams - the transition between the silo wall and discharge hopper.  When used for this critical structural element, the inclined surface of SiloTube follows the hopper angle whereas the other three surfaces remain horizontal or vertical.  This allows for easy joining of the silo wall to the hopper plate via the SiloTube section.  Apart from being used as a ring beam, SiloTube can also be used as an ecomonical alternative for silo support legs.  Though designed for silos and bins, SiloTube can also be used in various other applications which can exploit its different cross-section.
